Mack and Lana had nothing in common except Jed, Lana's deceased husband and Mack's best friend. When they married, I knew they'd be in for a rocky time, but they seemed to excel at doing and saying things that hurt the other, while actually intending to be helpful or healing. They both had trust issues to work on, though Mack's are more obvious than Lana's. Lana's son Georgie was a hoot, along with the Tucker sisters, whom I hope will be in the other books of the trilogy.
