Yukon Wedding (Love Inspired Historical)
A gold-rush town is no place for a single mother. But widow Lana Bristow won’t abandon the only home her son has ever known. She’ll fight to remain in Treasure Creek, Alaska—even if it means wedding Mack Tanner, the man she blames for her husband’s death.
Mack sees marriage as his duty, the only way to protect his former business partner’s family. Yet what starts as an obligation changes as his spoiled socialite bride proves to be a woman of strength and grace. A woman who shows Mack the only treasure he needs is her heart.

This is the first book in the Alaskan Brides trilogy, the LI Historical miniseries detailing the founding of Treasure Creek, Alaska, which was the setting for the LI Alaskan Bride Rush series from last summer/fall. Mack and Lana had nothing in common except Jed, Lana’s deceased husband and Mack’s best friend. When they married, I knew they’d be in for a rocky time, but they seemed to excel at doing and saying things that hurt the other, while actually intending to be helpful or healing. They both had trust issues to work on, though Mack’s are more obvious than Lana’s. Lana’s son Georgie was a hoot, along with the Tucker sisters, whom I hope will be in the other books of the trilogy. Great way to begin the trilogy with a bang!
