Question by jacknchloe: What is a good 1 yr traditional (paper) wedding anniversary gift I could get for my husband?
I am needing some ideas on what I can get my husband for our 1 yr wedding anniversary. I want to go with the traditional gift (paper) but nothing too expensive. I would love if it was something I could make. Any suggestions?

traditional gifts are blah. Get him anything he will like that is in your price range. Besides I am sure you are going to get him a card anyways-and that is made of paper.

Cash. Ha ha, just kidding. Why don’t you put together a scrapbook of photos and mementos of your dates together before you were married? Or perhaps tickets to a game or concert he wants to see?
Make him a scrapbook of your first year together… the scrapbook pages are paper. Since men are sometimes not as sentimental about things like that, you might also include a gift certificate to one of his favorite places or tickets to some event that he would want to attend (paper).
Perhaps a book (that’s paper, isn’t it?) he’s shown intrest in.
Make him a great card with some sequins or glue on 3D stickers, use your creative intellect and tell him happy anniversary.
I got my husband a coach wallet will a 100 dollar bill in it and he got me a Thomas Kinkade print.
Divorce Papers
Check out Origami My husband loves fish so for our first Valentines day I got different colored paper and bought the book it was around 10 dollars and I got the fish folded hooked them to thin wire and made a type of mobil for his office he still has it to this day and he tells me that he spends at least 15 min a day relaxing looking at it.
a custom business card for him along w/ an engraved business card holder expressing your love for him, make him a scrapbook of your love and at the end of it put two tickets to a show you both would like or a concert
You could make a bunch of paper cranes and hang them around the house when he’s away for a few hours. I think it’s is some kind of good luck or something like that.
how about a sexy love coupon…..or a painting done from a photo of you two….or a wallet filled with monopoly money—>you can then play stripper/lapdance—it’s fun if your into fantasy
For our one year anniversary, I had boudoir photos taken (sexy pictures of myself in lingerie or less). Then I made them into a book online using blurb.com, and gave him a book (made of paper, obviously) of sexy pictures of me. He loved it! Shop around to compare prices of local photographers, and if you find that you can’t afford a professional photographer, get a tripod or stand for your camera, and do it yourself. When you’re 65 and wrinkly, you’ll be glad you got sexy pictures of yourself when you were young and hot.
a portrait of you..I took my hubbys favorite picture of me and attached it to a plaque border with rope.. it hangs on his office wall..

Our 1 year anniversary is next month. To go along with the tradition of paper, I had professional pin ups done. There’s a photographer in Philly who had very tasteful portraits in traditional pin up girl poses. My husband is deployed right now (and won’t be home for our anniversary, so it’s not a big deal) and the photos won’t be ready by our anniversary, or before he comes home. So I’m sending him an anniversary card (also paper LoL) and then writing down the link to my proofs. That way he gets to see all the pictures and then be surprised with my 4 favorites when he officially comes home. If you don’t want to spend the money (My package cost $ 300 for professional hair & makeup, costume, all the poses I wanted, an 8×10, 5×7, and 2 4x5s), you could always have pictures done at Wal Mart or Sears or even do Glamour Shots (though I think they’re horrible and always give you 80′s hair.)
