call a bridal shop and find out what percent off retail they usually pay. then your price to the wholesalers would be somewhere between your costs (including labor and shipping) and what the wholesaler pays – example (I have no idea if this is close – just an example) – retail price – $ 1000 – wholesale $ 500 – your costs – $ 200 – sell for 350? – halfway between 200 and 500 – I could be way off – that’s why YOU have to call some places – other manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers and see what they charge at each level so you can see if you can compete with them using the same pricing strategies. – you may find you can’t compete with the bigger companies
