I always kept it in a box wrapped in tissue paper in the attic and if you live in Florida, you will know how the attics are in Florida. It is just a small crawling space between your ceiling and the roof. It can get really really hot in the summer if you go there for more than 10 minues. <br/><br/>Anyway, when I decided to bring my gown down from the attic and opened my dress, it was still in perfect shape with only two small stains which I removed with a stain remover and then I decided to buy this gown bag for it and not place it in the attic anymore. <br/><br/>The bag worked perfectly well for my wedding gown, now I have it in my closet hoping to keep it away from dust and mold. <br/><br/>My only complaint is that the gown bag is so long that it goes all the way to the floor but I guess it has to be that way since the wedding gowns are long too but it kind of bothers me. I really don't want to put it in a box again because it might get moldy with the plastic bag. <br/><br/>If you really do not want to spend a lot of money on a wedding gown bag, this is a good one, as long as you have some room in your closet to hang it. I do not recommend putting your wedding gown in this bag if you are going to place it in a box and then in an attic. I think the wedding gown needs air to flow inside if you really want to keep it neat.
