This is a very pretty ring. I bought this as a right hand fashion ring in a size 4 (not as an engagement ring). It fits true to size. The band is quite thinner than the picture would lead you to beleive, but for my very small hands it looks great. If you have small hands like me, I would not recommend purchasing a stone any bigger than this one. Also, the center stone does not look very real, so I would not recommend this as an engagement ring, but it does make a beautiful fashion ring. Very clear and sparkly. I do, however, have a few complaints about this ring. 1st complaint – the stones fell out of the setting the first day I wore it. I used my jeweler’s pliers to put the stone back into the setting. It has been secure since I fixed it, but it did leave some scratches on the bottom of the stone setting. 2nd complaint – the center stone is not emerald cut. It does not have the “stairstep” design like emerald cut diamonds have. It appears to be more similar to a radiant cut, but it is very pretty nonetheless. 3rd complaint – the two trillion cut stones on the sides are beautiful, but they are not exactly the same size (one bigger than the other)… I’m OCD about symmetry, so this does bother me a bit. 4th complaint – after about 2 weeks of wearing this ring, some of the rhodium plating has worn off of the silver band. It doesn’t look bad on my finger, but it does give away the fact that the ring is silver instead of gold or platinum.
